A/Prof David Dewar is involved with multiple orthopaedic and trauma research projects.

He has completed his PhD investigating the causes of multiple organ failure in patients with significant injury. He has research interests in optimising patient outcomes, complex fracture non-union and infection.

A/Prof Dewar also has multiple publications, presentations and book chapters.

As a member of the Academy of Surgical Educators, he has served as faculty for multiple trauma education courses.
